The local population was composed originally of farmers and later joined by middle-class people. Today the town is highly popular and many young people come to inhabit it, increasing significantly the amount of students enrolled in schools in the town. Only this year we doubled the number of first grades student in school. There is in addition an increasing number of senior citizens which influence the needs for adequate facilities for these people - Every morning there is very heavy traffic going out of town. All traffic is largely channeled on one road(482), causing traffic jams during rush hours and traffic jams in the afternoon when people return from work. Most of the traffic is private cars. There is currently in planning a large interchange on the east that will allow a second exit and moderate traffic jams in the morning. In addition there is in planned large industrial area on the west that will allow residents to work close to home, as well as a plan for good mass transportation like light train for ex. that could be a great solution to reduce traffic + pollution - As a result of population growth there is an increasing quantity of water consumption and the quantity of sewage which requires treatments , attention and establishing a system adapted to meet the needs accordingly.
