Necessary Information or Examples As Munich is a highly industrial and economically successful city with a high living standard and both a warm summer season and a cold winter a lot of energy is needed for heating, cooling, production and creating a comfortable atmosphere for the inhabitants and visitors. ![enter image description here][1] Moreover Munich's success is created by being an attractive destination for tourists and a point of interest for many companies in various markets. That's why there's a dynamic change of stock and flow in people, who 'feed' the economy, provide its environment and keep it running. As Munich has a population of about 1.5 million people a big flow of food is needed to feed them. 3. Future Development As Munich's population and markets relevance is still growing, more people will move into the city and as a consequence more energy and food will be needed. Furthermore regarding Germany's path towards a renewable energy supply will result in a change of the flow of energy as well as in its stock (e.g. smart grids).
