Structure of the **electricity networ** of Greece, EHV(extra high voltage) and HV (high voltage) transmission network (flow of energy), "temporary stock" and transformation of it and then distribution of MV within the city (and distribution to industrial facilities), then there is also a "temporary stock", transformation and then distribution of energy (in form of low voltage) to residential, commercial and (stocks of buildings) for the respective utilization. **Water treatment** facilities where specialists analyze the quality of water that serves the city of Xanthi. There is also the possibility of making analyses after request. The is a continuous inflow of water to the treatment facilities where it is stocked and transformed (by addition or extraction of components). The transformation phase leads to the outflow of water in order to meet the demand of potable water. **c.** Imagine and shortly describe how these stocks and flows could change in the future for the benefit of your area. These infrastructures can change in two ways. The first way could be related with a possible expansion of carrying capacity in order to meet future needs (e.g. due to population increase). There is a sound need for **monitoring** the state of facilities and to be in compliance with hygiene standards (e.g. vegetables and meat markets), smart grid standards (transformation of the electricity network in order to minimize CO2 emissions), **modernize** the facilities of biological treatment in order to provide even higher quality of services regarding the water network of the city. The second way could be related with the **"softwarization"** of the services that are provided via the aforementioned facilities (e.g. vegetables and meat markets can provide services through websites and web apps, water treatment facilities can provide information regarding the real time state of the quality of water, the reserves and guidelines for the population, the same is true for electricity network, both have to consider authorization and security issues to avoid cyber attacks etc. )
