**a. Provisioning Services:** The ecosystem of Cerillos River and its drainage basin is one of the principals provider of fresh water for my city, Ponce. Regulation services:** Moderation of extreme events: The Puerto Rico’s Southern Mangrove Ecosystem protects our coastline from storm damage. It also provides habitat services, providing the essentials for aquatic species such as sea urchins, sea cucumbers, small fishes, crabs and birds. In some specific destinations, like Gilligan’s Island the ecosystem provide cultural services performing as a tourist destination. ![][2] Gilligan's Island, Guánica, PR **c. Habitat or supporting services:** *El Yunque* National Forest is the only tropical rain forest in the U.S Forest System. At nearly 29,000 acres, is one of the smallest in size, yet one of the most biologically diverse hosting hundreds of animal and plant species, some of which are found only here. Cultural services:** Our beaches with white sand and all-year blue and sunny skies has always been our major tourist attraction.
