Agriculture is one of the prime production when you live at the central Luzon. But areas that are on coast side have also produced foods that are for human consumption. *Tahong* and *tinapa* are one of the main products that are to be found nearby marine and freshwater systems. These products provide enough living for those who reside within of where they are mainly produced; which is why the ecosystems of such are taken care of by the residents since it is their livelihood-- one good way to preserve the environment. - Raw materials Bamboo is one of the materials used for construction and other derivation of such. It is as industrial and hard as concrete when bamboo is studied thoroughly and is a lot more eco-friendly than concrete. - Fresh water Dams and other related-structures are provided in our country where water is rich and regulates flow and purification of water. That means where there are rivers, creeks or other bodies of water are used for the benefit of the residents. When there are thorough storms, these dams are able to prevent immediate flooding since it first keeps the water inside; and when there is drought, the water that is stored from heavy rainfalls are provided for the citizen's use of water. - Medicinal resources Since there is still lots of areas in our country that are yet to be reachable by modern medicine, many still practice the use of traditional medicines. The areas where there are rich of a particular medicinal plant are able to provide the pharmaceutical industry their needs for study of an alternative medicine which already is starting to become popular in the Philippines. **2. Regulating services** When down at the rural areas, local climate does not differ that much with the urban areas. Although, air quality differs a lot since on the urban areas, there are lesser vegetation but huge emission of CO2. Center islands which are on highways are being planted with trees so that the emission of CO2 from vehicles would somehow lessen and especially through time, become more able of decreasing such. Open spaces within the cities are being implemented having at least 5 to 20 percent from the total area. These open spaces are translated into recreational spaces and preservation. **3. Habitat or supporting services** ![http://animalstime.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/Philippine-Tarsier-Endangered-Animals-in-the-Philippines.jpg][6] Since there are several endangered species in the Philippines, animals of such condition are being preserved by several public and private sectors in order to save them from extinction. Ecosystems on where they are habituable are preserved so that they would not be deprived of their usual living. These species are protected by the constitution of whomever hunts or kills them shall be punishable by law. **4. Cultural services** ![ati-atihan][7] I believe that this is where Philippines is pretty much rich of. Tourism, appreciation for arts and design and sense of place are cultivated by the Filipinos. Tradition and culture is very important to all Filipinos-- it is very much taken care of and if able, to enrich better the turn over to the next generation. Tourism is one of the great contributors in the economy of our country, the natural and heritage places that exists are ought to be preserved and be well taken care of. Aside from the tourism, the spiritual experience and sense of place when you are in our country, is also preserved through traditions of churches and practices that are conserved by almost 80 percent of the total population in the country.
