These spaces are desireable as recreation spaces which contribute to mental and physical health. Tourism industry thrives on the waterfront parts of the city. The interaction of water and the city is an important element of the cultural history and sense of place of Stockholm and of Swedish culture. ![old city][3] ![waterfront][4] [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14593379611845868.jpg [2]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14593379964383357.jpg [3]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14593380787767633.jpg [4]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14593381175571853.jpg
