The city provides space to develop urban farms ran by the community. They are an example of a food provisioning service. Even though the most of our food doesn't come from urban farming, it is a step towards the direction of a healthy provisioning ecosystem. ![Forest][2] This forest is surrounded by urbanization and represents a regulating service that provides better air quality, as well as carbon sequestration. Also, the forest can also be a provisioning service for wild forms of food or materials like wood. ![La chamberonne][3] This river represents an ecological corridor that was preserved as a main wildlife habitat for certain species. The ecosystem service that is illustrated here is the habitat or supporting service. ![Running by the lake][4] As cultural service example this photo represents an urban park at Lausanne perfect to recreational purposes and physical health activities. As well as a regulating service because of all the trees that are present on site.
