**1. Provisioning services: Mediterranean sea** ![][1] One of the most important provisional services for Torremolinos is the Mediterranean Sea. A great part of our everyday diet depends on the food provided by this sea. There are a variety of traditional fishes in our cuisine, such as anchovies, sardines, mussels and prawns. **2. Regulating services: Torremolinos Mountains** ![][2] Although Torremolinos should have more green areas and urban parks to reduce the UHI effect and pollution, the town has a wonderful mountain. This natural place is composed of several pine trees, which regulate the air quality and influence rainfall. **3. Habitat supporting: Guadalhorce Delta** ![][3] The Guadalhorce River is a quite important system for the region and its Delta is located in Torremolinos. This place is home to different species and part of the migration routes for some coast birds. It represents a place for recreation, protection for birds and a green oasis for species reproduction in the urban area. **4. Cultural services: Botanical Garden “Molino del Inca”** ![][4] The Botanical Garden of Torremolinos is a recreational place and a fantastic green area to walk and relax. It has approximately 4 Ha and it is located at the source of the original spring of Torremolinos. There are 50 different species of palm trees, 60 species of trees and approximately 400 bushes of different parts of the world.
