A. Provisioning services Aarhus Vand (Aarhus Water) is situated at a 10 minute drive from the city centre at the border of the city. They arrange all different kinds of services related to water. Water purification for drinking water and renovation of service pipes, maintaining the sewer system, and repairing malfunctions. ![Aarhus canal][1] B. Regulating services I’ve been able to find that the university is doing research on pollination and biological control, but I have no concrete examples of the execution. Furthermore the city has several parks and surrounding forest that can store carbon and add to the air quality. C. Habitat or Supporting services In 2017 Aarhus will be the European Capital of Culture and one of the projects is called “ Rethink Urban Habitats”, focussing on creating awareness for improving the city as a residence for not only people, but also mushrooms, plants and animals. The various parks, the sea and the forest in Aarhus do offer a place for plenty of species to live. ![Aarhus park][2] D. Cultural services The cycling path and pavement that go past the coast in Aarhus give many people the opportunity to both exercise and relax, enjoying the nice view and environment. ![Sea and forest Aarhus][3] [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14621804292068123.jpg [2]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/1462180887836308.jpg [3]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14621806799886934.jpg
