Most material and energy are imported from China and overseas, including food and water. ![Sea nearby Pte. da Amizade, an important bridge connecting Macau Peninsula and Taipa][1] Regulating Services --------------------- While Macau still has some natrual resources, they are protected in order to absorb potential pollution and keep its biodiversity. There are some important regulators in Macau, for example, mountains in Taipa and Coloane are called "lungs of the city" by locals. ![A green area][2] Habitat or Supporting Services --------------------- In University of Macau, large area of the campus are covered by greens. It keeps as much area untouched as possible during construction. Thus it is not strange to see fish, frog, birds and even insects! While easier seen than in city area of Macau, it is sometimes truly annoying hearing birds shouting at night. ![Campus green area][3] Cultural Services --------------------- No need to explain much, because Macau is famous of cultural tourism!
