*Guadalhorce Valley*. In drylands, water scarcity limits the production of crops, forage, wood and other ecosystem provisioning services. But the Guadalhorce Valley has a great area of agricultural land, where farmers provide food for the local towns. This huge garden blessed with a wonderful microclimate has eight well-connected villages where you can attend all kinds of cultural, culinary and sporting activities. ![][1] **Regulating services.** *Gibralfaro Mountain*. The magnificent Castillo de Gibralfaro sits on a high hill overlooking Malaga city and port, and dates back to the 10th century. The image of Gibralfaro is well known: you can see it in both Malaga city and province's seal and flag. The hill where the Gibralfaro is situated forms part of the Montes de Málaga mountain range, located to the east and north of Malaga city - this land is protected by the Montes' natural park status. ![][2] **Habitat or Supporting services.** *Guadalhorce Delta*. The Malaga biodiversity hotspot is located on the Mediterranean coastal, on the Guadalhorce Delta. It is a beautiful Valley which is populated by citrus orchards and gardens. Until now, the administration approach to managing the Delta have succeeded in striking the right balance between promoting the various activities taking place in the delta and protecting its fabulous biodiversity. ![][3] **Cultural services.** Malaga is a historical and cultural city thanks to its artistic heritage (since Phoenician times) and its constant and dynamic heritage. Related to its strategic importance for the Andalusia economy, authorities have emphasized the importance of promoting the development of cultural tourism from a cultural base itself. Therefore, in the last decade, they have implemented several cultural programs. In one hand, the Picasso Museum, the Carmen Thyssen Museum, the Wine Museum, the Automobile Museum and the Russian Museum. On the other hand, the Centre Pompidou Málaga, the C.A.C.
