![][1] Climatically Ahmedabad is pretty hot in the summers, but the river acts as a major role in creating an edge. The river front is developed which provides opportunities to many green spaces and thus creating a green belt around the city. ![][2] The pol houses in the old city have shared walls and are very interactive because of the narrow streets people gather together and it is very rich culturally. ![][3] There is a lot of cultural diversity because of the festivals celebrated here. People actively participate, decorate their homes and get dressed up to meet and make the most of it.
