1. Near Podgorica there is huge flat plane named Zetska Ravnica and Bjelopavlicka Ravnica, suitable for growing fruits, mainly Grapes, the area is under was vineyards, one of the largest one piece vineyards in Europe. Both of these flats in Montenegro carry most of the food production for whole Montenegro. Still this area is not developed enough and many of the food products is imported to Montenegro from neighboring countries. ![Zetska Ravnica, Vineyards][1] 2. Podgorica is very close to Skadar Lake which is largest in Montenegro, the lake is very important as source of fresh water fish. There are a couple of fishing villages that live mainly from tourism and fishing. Also Podgorica is only 60km away from Adriatic Sea. ![Sea food from Adriatic Sea caught by local fisherman][2] 3. Podgorica has six rivers on its city territory. Small River called Mareza is one of couple sources of fresh water. Thanks to this Podgorica has safe (excellent) drinking water. **b. Regulating services** 1. Moraca river, Ribnica River and Zeta River are of huge importance in the city life in Podgorica and its surroundings. These rivers with Skadar Lake act beneficial for local climate and lowering the temperature during hot summer months. 2. Waste water treatment is mainly done by swamp parts of Skadar Lake where river Moraca meets the Lake. These area due to neglecting are currently not properly secured from too much pollution, and it is a matter of time when the area around Swamps on the lake will be too devastated. This is a problem that can lead to complete destruction of Skadar Lake ecosystem. **c. Habitat or surrounding services:** All of the mentioned places are home to many spices. Skadar Lake is last natural nesting ground for Pelican bird in Europe. Also Rocky terrain of the Podgorica surrounding is home to many reptilian and insect spices that are of huge importance for the ecosystem.![View from Virpazar Fort][3] **d. Cultural services:** Once again all of the mentioned area are very important for city of Podgorica and its cultural and tourism activity. Skadar Lake is one of the key destination for the tourists in Podgorica to visit. Also Canyon of river Moraca is interesting but still not developed enough for tourism. On Skadar Lake can be seen many islands that still act as spiritual places. There are numerous Monasteries that are centuries old, also the small town of Zabljak Crnojevica is first capital and founding city for Montenegro.
