The provisioning services in the city of Buenos Aires are, practically all the exemplified in TEEB website. The metropolis of Buenos Aires is originated and developed as the main port of the Río de la Plata; in fact, one of the largest estuaries in the world. The geography of the Río de la plata and the associated water courses, more humid pampas of Argentina, provide a Buenos Aires of food, fresh water, resources for the construction industry and plant-based fuels. It is a city located in a region of great wealth, with a huge potential for the available resources. ![Buenos Aires - rio - pampa][1] b. Regulating services: Contradiction to the previous point, the metropolis or megalopolis of Buenos Aires, is, by its vast dimension, in crisis on the regulating services. While it has them all, they are, at the same time, missed or cancelled by the chaotic growth of the city. The same matrix production and generation of the urban structure (real estate speculation) causes the deterioration of the ecosystem, causing floods, air pollution, pollution in soils, etc. The Río de la Plata, is still an important natural regulation body, but also a source of major flooding, due to the elimination of the original coastal flora and the sealing of urban land. ![inundación en el centro de Buenos Aires.][2] c. Habitat or Supporting services: The Supporting services of the Metropolis of buenos Aires mutate constantly, to find to be linked to the Río de la plata, whose flow comes from Brazil, dragging all kinds of biodiversities. Proof of this is the call the Ecological Reserve in the city center´s coast. The Ecological Reserve is an artificial island made of urban rubble, which literally traps sediments, plant and animal life travelling with the current of the river. It is a true example of the ability of interaction between an artificial topography as a certain ecology natural deployment support. Then I show a picture of ante project for the reuse of scrap, a local Highway precast, thrown in the reserve, to be transformed into infrastructure (quays, covers sun protection, etc.) of the reserve. ![Ecological Reserve][3] ![premoldeados transformados y reutilizados][4] ![Nuevos ámbitos][5] d. Cultural services: Buenos Aires has a febrile cultural activity. It is the city of Borges, the Tango, the new Latin American cinema, of avant-garde techno music. It is a city with a Bohemian aesthetic, mix of a past of wealth and a subsequent history of agreements and disagreements, economic and political, among its inhabitants. As I said, the best example of a new cultural relationship, between the city as artificiality, with nature specified territory, is the Ecological Reserve of Buenos Aires. Of the destruction, a reconstruction. Of the artificial, a tough and changing nature. Finally a culture. ![culture 1][6] ![cultura final][7] Blueprint images are of my invention. The satellite images are from Google Earth. The image of a particular flood, published on the internet. Link to project: http://www.proyectoomnibus.com/proyecto_reserva-eco.php Greetings Mg. Arch.
