![][1] The letters in the map correspod with the following services: **A) Provisioning services** Food: In my town there is a greenbelt of small farms to plant corn and soybeans for food production. (See the letter A in the map) **B) Regulating services** Erosion prevention and maintenance of soil fertility: In Maringá, in the surrounding of rivers and streams inside the town no one can build. There is a municipal law that provides 30 meters away from the rivers to riparian vegetation to prevent soil erosion, the areas are called "permanent preservation area". (For example, see the river in the letter B in the map and the light green in the following map) ![][2] **C) Habitat or Supporting services** Habitats for species: There is a park (see letter C in the map) that is closed for visitation. It´s a native forest untouched by man to be habitat of local species. The park is a habitat that provide everything that an individual plant or animal needs to survive: food; water; and shelter. **D)Cultural services** Tourism: The other park in the map is open to the tourists and citizens.
