Be aware that I am talking about the final Consumption In order to the balance the major fossil fuels used is Oil, Gas and Coal, but still Oil products having a considerable difference compare to the other Fossil fuels. 2.- Mainly we used this energy for transport and industry, but transportation demands so much more, if I think about this it is actually true, we have 3 major cities in Mexico: 1.-Mexico city (including Distrito Federal) 2.-Guadalajara, Jalisco 3.-Monterrey, Nuevo Leon In all of them you can actually identify that streets are pretty bad for using bike and people complain too much about public transportation, it is no really good and plus consider the insecurity in the city. At the end is not the best way to travel around. Also the design of every single one of these cities doesn’t have the best urban planning so this has created many problems between for proper connections, distance, public transportation, etc. I mean the Subway or train modalities are only useful for a certain amount of our inhabitants so this has been a problem of lack of planning and education. And today that we are trying to change this concerns it is actually more difficult to solve problems instead of doing right since the beginning. Industry it is well distributed between the different sectors but I honestly believed that Mexico need to change for renewable energy I mean we do really have an amazing weather to take advantage of this kind of source. 3.- I would definitely provide for a new policy inside the cities to use solar energy for every single housing, I mean we can reduce consumption for heating water or cooling by using other methods, the problem is that people still believe that it is really expensive when is the opposite in a long term period. I would also try to make an urban plan for a term of 5 years where the government and the private institutions could work together to change public transportation for electric transportation, give more power or influence for biking, but by doing these we will be changing our streets therefore our public space. In other words the policy will be “Redesign in an integrated way to change the streets and the culture of the city” I also will do another policy for smaller cities so we can pay attention to them so we don’t make the same mistakes that big cities are doing. So the policy will be “Focus and finding opportunities to develop a sustainable culture in smaller cities by education, plans, urban design, redesign housing (before is too late). I leave a sketch of a particular idea with the basics of it I don’t if is the best drawing but I believe we must take advantage of technology to build smatter, bigger and better. The world is not going to keep with this rhythm we have these days. ![ingrese la descripción de la imagen aquí][1] [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/144666579523732.jpg
