1.- Safety 2.- Job Opportunities 3.- Education 4.- Culture 5.- Environment 2. WHY DO WE LIVE WHERE WE LIVE? I'm living since November in Herndon, Virginia (United States). I'm from Uruguay, and now I'm living here it's a big change and big challenge. So, We evaluated pros and cons obviously. In terms of Livability We considered three topics: 1- Job Opportunities (we got a job relocation), 2.- Education (schools in the area has a great position in the US rankings), 3.-Transportation (good transportation system), 4.- Safety (very nice and safe place), 5.- International Connectivity (We are in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area near of Dulles International Airport). ![Herndon Municipal Building][1] 3. TO WHAT EXTEND DOES YOU OWN PLACE OF RESIDENCE FULFILL YOUR IDEAL LIVABILITY CRITERIA? 1.- Safety 95 2.- Job Opportunities 85 3.- Education 85 4.- Culture 85 5.- Environment 85 SCORE OF MY CITY: 85 4. WHAT WOULD YOU CHANGE? Recently, I'm living here, but, in my opinion this area need more pedestrians walkways and cycle lanes. This city, like most of cities in US are based in the use of the car. Except in specific places in the downtown, the use of such activities, which are both recreational and mobility in itself is not promoted. 5- WHY DO WE MOVE?
