Although Torremolinos does not have a relevant Citizen Design Science project, Málaga has some examples of this type of urban planning exercises. One of them is the project URBACT USER. Trinidad Sur y Perchel Norte. A planning project that takes into account the ideas of the inhabitants of the neighbourhood and encourages them to improve their own houses. ![][1] . How would you start-up a Citizen Design Science project?** I would try to involve different actors in the project, such as teachers and students, architects, local government members and the inhabitants of the neighbourhood. It would be particularly important to create meetings in order to understand the problem. The experts and inhabitants together would create a decision tree. This scheme is a model that shows the causes and effects of a given problem and establishes the bases to designing a specific activity to address the problem. The objective is to design and implement small interventions that can generate a chain of improvement processes over time. The interventions are meant to be low-cost interventions that should be easily financed. [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14615106502172238.jpg
