The first step which is data collecting for my urban transformation citizen design sciense project, would be inspired from a Turkish newspapers way of asking readers opinions. This newspaper; under each topic, asks a multiple choice question about that news and after you make your choice it shows the clicking ratios of all answers. This newspaper uses a social network platform called www.poltio.com. When I check the website, I saw that there are many concepts they collect data about. The question format is generally asking people if they agree, disagree or noncommit. In my citizen design project, I would also prepare multiple choice questions about environment, housing, transportation, green areas, parks and etc. By looking at the ratios, I would determine the most approved ideas. I would also prepare a discussion part for each topic just as we do here, for people commenting why they chose which answer. According to the answers, I would prepare some more detailed questions each time and make it more clear, defined and detailed. ![example][1] As the second step, I would visualize some design alternatives based on the answers, as people can see how the future project would be and again ask for their last choice. Turkish government also used this approach on deciding the new bus design of the city. ![visualization][2] I would take these datas via a web-site prepared special for this urban transformation project, which can be downloaded also as an application. After deciding on the design, I would also use this web site as an online tracing platform for the citizens.
