![][1] First of all the city is too big and for the neighborhoods that are almost in the edge they do not have public transport from the government they created their own with a concession and this one is bad quality and is not a safe transport could be for accidents or for assaults, so they need to provide this people good quality of transport expanding the existing lines of buses, etc, for the metro this is a good service the problem is a lot of people use it so they need to improve the cars and they need to pass more often like every 5 minutes or so, for the buses they need to eliminate the private buses that have concessions to work and just have one system with good quality buses with bus schedule in every bus stop they need to pass often and drivers must be qualified people with uniform like in other countries, The government made a very good investment in certain areas of the city to make just one transport in those streets it is call “metrobus” the problem is that the line is often full and is not enough for people that use it, another problem is that they are situated near metro stations and they leave behind the neighbors where they have no services at all, for the urban planning it is also very important to stop building huge buildings for people, rich or poor, it is important to stop growing the city and later reduce the population and to achieve this the states need to improve in services and job offers and obviously security. In summary a good way to start a citizen design project to improve the public transport could be by collecting data of the citizens that use it to understand where do they come from? Where do they go? How often do they use it? How much time and money do they spend on it? How is the infrastructure near their homes and if it is accessible? Also some people move with big packages and some others don’t maybe in some areas they need to put special cars in the metro or tramway to provide a better service. ![][2] An idea it is also to create an application for mobiles and be able to know when our bus will pass and be able to plan our travels.
