In my opinion livability is a set of conditions in a given geographical delimitation that guarantee the fulfillment of basic needs of the inhabitants and foster through the use of design and technology meaningful relationships between them so they work together towards common goals that benefit the majority. **Personal Ranking** 1. Neighborhood 2. Housing 3. Environment 4. Health 5. Transportation 6. Opportunity 7. Engagement **Table** ![Table][1] **Explanation** I chose neighborhood as the most important factor in my ranking. The scores of the big cities Seattle and Philadelphia went up, while the score for the smaller city of Wichita went down. We could suppose following explanations for these results: In the big cities (Seattle and Philadelphia) there are more or better options for jobs, people there enjoy life much better and there is a bigger offer for leisure activities, compared to the smaller city (Wichita), where there is probably a less dynamic economy and/or less private/ public budget for cultural events. All in all we could risk to generalize that in bigger cities the dynamics of the economy, innovation and offer of cultural events favor a better score in the neighborhood index.
