**1. What are the dominant fossil fuels used in your country?** The main fossil fuels in Russia are gas and oil. **2. Where are the dominant fossil fuels mainly used for in your country? (e.g. transport, industry, non-energy use etc.)** Besides significant amount of gas and oil are being exported these fossil fuels (especially oil) mainly used for transport. Gas also is commensurately used for industry, other and non-energy use. **3. It is your task to create a new policy in order to improve the environmental friendly and sustainable sources and consumption of energy of your country. How would you do that? Think of how you can improve the sources and the consumption of energy.** I guess we should increase production of nuclear energy as well as from renewable sources, firstly from bio/waste, PV panels and wind turbines whether it is possible. For sure we should reduce the consumption of fossil fuels in transport – we should reduce amount of cars in cities, extensively develop public transport and using of bikes.
