**1-*What are the dominant fossil fuels used in your country?*** In Argentina the dominant fossil fuels used are Oil products (36,08 Mtoe) and Natural Gas (41,65 Mtoe) over a total production and import of 88,17 Mtoe. Oil production from refineries is 30,95 Mtoe and import of oil products comes to 5,13 Mtoe. **2- Where are the dominant fossil fuels mainly used for in your country?** In my country the dominant fossil fuels are mainly used in transport and others. Almost 13,16 Mtoe of oil products are used in transport and 9,90 Mtoe of Natural Gas are used in residential, commercial and public services, agriculture/forestry, fishing and non-specified. ![][1] **3- It is your task to create a new policy in order to improve the environmental friendly and sustainable sources and consumption of energy of your country. How would you do that? Think of how you can improve the sources and the consumption of energy.** First, I would create a policy to increase production of renewable sources, like bio waste, solar panels and wind turbines. Reduce the consumption of fossil fuels in transport by reducing the amount of cars in the city , developed a more efficient public transport and encourage the use of bikes. Besides, I would increase efficiency of energy consumption in households by improving quality standards in the construction and construction materials.
