2.- These fossil fuels are mainly used in Transport and Industry, with a minimum degree in Residential use. 3.- According to the ProMéxico 2012 study on Renewable Energies, Mexico is one of the main countries with geothermal capacity production, additionally, Mexico is located in the "Solar Belt", which means it can produce more than 5 kWh/m2 per day, ascending up to 8.5 kWh/m2. Making the country one of the most attractive for solar energy investments. Also, Mexico posses a large cattle and agriculture industries, so biomass fuels could beacome a smart choice to become an energy source. Based on this information and considering that Mexico has a wide territory with volcanic activity, cattle, agriculture and solar incidence, I would encourage the use of these energies as they are not invasive or destructive to the surrounding environment as an hydroelectric dam should do. Biomass fuels should help with the transport issue, meanwhile the solar and geothermal energies should fulfill the energy demand for cities and industries. ![View of the Banderas Bay of Puerto Vallarta.][1] View of Puerto Vallarta.
