Travel from Home to Office: For Route 1: Public Transport: Bus. The total amount of time it takes to go by bus is 39 minutes. The walk to the bus stop can be very harrowing - the pollution, the traffic, the crowds are not easy to handle. By the time you walk to the bus stop, manage to get the right bus and reach your destination (Office) your nerves are at their wits end. The traffic is tremendous, you don't get a seat to sit, the buses are very crowded hence difficult to even stand and breathe. Public transportation is a problem - so not a happy state of affairs. Route 2: Walking. The total time taken for walking to the office would be 30 minutes. There is a short-cut through the vicinity (Colony). There are some clear patches through which one can walk and enjoy the greenary but when one reaches the open road where there is a lot of traffic plying - there is so much dust, pollution, the pavements/walkways are not very people friendly. Hence, not a win-win situation. Route 3: Car. The total time taken by car is about 10 minutes. This is most convenient and time saving. Not only that one misses out on the pollution and congestion. So a happy situation Route 1 Mode of Transport Time Taken in Minutes Distance in M Walk to Bus Stop 4 200 Bus - Ride 20 3000 Walk to Office 15 800 Total Time 39 Total Distance Walked 4000 Route 2 Mode of Transport Time Taken in Minutes Distance in M Walk Through Park 30 950 Total Time 30 Total Distance 950 Route 3 Mode of Transport Time Taken in Minutes Distance in M House Door to Car 5 seconds Car- Drive 10 Minutes Car stop to Office 5 seconds Total Time 10 Minutes 10 Seconds Total Distance 2000 ![Chart][1] [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14609802691686771.jpg
