![][1] ![][2] ![][3] The car is the usually mode of transportation that I take to go from my home to my work. I would like to have a better option, but I live in Torremolinos and I work in Málaga and there is a lack of public buses connections with the city. Although I’m aware that travel by car has an important impact in the environment due to CO2 emissions, it is cheaper and quicker than going by train or walking (Route 2). In fact, I spend only 20 min by car and I would spend 60 minutes or more if I commuting bus, train and walking (Route 2). There is no doubt that traveling by bus or train increases the opportunities to have social interaction and the possibility to enjoy the travel without stress. However, I have done the route 2 once and I spent almost a total of 2 hours and half (including the time that I have to wait for the bus and the train). Furthermore, the train is very expensive and it is unaffordable to taking daily. It would be interesting to increase the number of buses from Torremolinos to Malaga, implement a strict schedule for them and reduce the train fares for residents.
