I usually drive because it is the fastest method and I am quite busy outside of work, so I mostly choose this method because of the travel time involved. I know this is the worst for emissions unfortunately :( I work in Langford and live in Victoria, the majority of people in this area do the opposite: they live in Langford and vicinity and work in Victoria. It’s a relatively short drive (22 min) but if I were doing it in the other direction, my commute would be much longer (at least 2-3 times). Perhaps in this case I would choose an alternate form of transportation such as biking because this would be faster with the traffic. The bus in the longest route. Because of time, and post-work activities I have not utilized this option recently. However, I will have more free in the time in the summer, and have always enjoyed the 10 min walk option that I have when choosing a bus route. I have not tried to ride my bike to work yet, as the one that I have is not the best for long distances, and also I would have to shower prior to beginning work. However, I will try riding my bike this summer for the commute back from work. There is a beautiful lake on the way back, and I would not have to rush or worry about being sweaty.` ![MAPPING THE ROUTE TO WORK][1] [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14622317044578819.jpg
