The following data and images will show different choices open to me in regards to my commute to and from work from home. Unfortunately for me, the place where I more often go is my university which is far away from my home. The first option is to go by car, taking in to account the traffic and the cost of gas and parking it became the most expensive option. ![][1] Walking is not even an option due to the large distance. ![][2] The best option is using the public transport. The most effective public transport in Bogotá is the Transmilenio that is a BRT Bus Rapid Transit. To get to the closest station I have to walk for ten minutes and take it to the station near my university. ![][3] The problem in this case is that Bogotá has not a tradition of campus residences or youth people living by their selves near the universities. Thats because Bogotá as the capital cities have the most important universities in the country, and most of the people who go to this universities are from Bogotá.
