In my case, I am a researcher at the University of Buenos Aires, I travel from Monday to Friday, from my house in the Centre of the city, to my place of study and work at the campus of the University of Buenos Aires. While my city has a considerable variety of public transportation (Buses of different types, subway, urban rail, taxi, collaborative system of individual transport, etc.), usually I'm in the car, as a matter of time. The distance of travel by comparing, for example, go walking, car, bus or bicycle, is similar, but the relative temporal distance is suitable to the automobile. I eventually go to the University City by bike, but as I also give night classes at the University, I prefer to go home fast in the car, which is also safer. The option of walking, have practiced it only once, and it was fantastic, but for travel time, me is impossible to practise it. The solution, in the case of Buenos Aires, should be greater investment in subways. There are different lines, expanding. All the inhabitants of the city hope that services to multiply. The trip by car is often have accidents on the road, inconveniences, damage, etc. It is not always my best option. I am convinced that for ecological reasons, overall health of the population, economy, urban development, the automobile is a problem, but, from a personal assessment, travel comfortable listening to music in my car , to improvise a route based on desire, make it very attractive. Then compare, with images, relations of time and distance, between my house and my work in University City (FADU/UBA), by walking, bus, bike and car: location of the points to be studied: my house (City Centre) and City College of the University of Buenos Aires (Faculty of architecture, design and urbanism FADU) on the coast of the Río de la Plata : ![puntos de conexión: casa - Ciudad Universitaria][2] By car: approximate distance: 18 km. average travel time: 35': ![by car][3] By Bus: approximate distance: 18.5 km average travel time: 1 h 8': ![by bus][4] By bicycle: approximate distance: 12 km. average travel time: 1 h 15': ![by bike][5] Walking: approximate distance: 12 km. average travel time: 2 h 20' ![walking][6] Greetings Mg Arch.
