Public transportation in this city is mainly a system of shared cars that go on stablished routes picking passengers wherever they stop along the road, those are managed by unions. There are also government handled buses but they are limited and the bus stations are one to far from the other, around 15 minutes walking. I prefer the public car system even if it is almost twice the price of the bus. Travel time is less and that is one of the aspects I value the most when it comes to transportation. Also walking distance is less and with the high temperatures, the lack of vegetation, the bad conditions of the sidewalks and also is unsafe to walk around.
