Yes, a scheme called Odd-Even has been introduced to reduce pollution in cities. As per this, only odd numbered vehicles can ply on odd dates and even numbered on even dates. This scheme has been followed and there has been drastic improvement in most importantly, pollution and also traffic conditions.
