Excess thermal effect (1.5-2 °C higher than outside) in the big city is mainly caused by: 1. The two vectors heating: infrared radiation coming from the sun and infrared radiation reflected from objects vertical - about 70% 2. emissions thermal power plants - about 15% 3. emissions gases of car - about 8-10% 4. leakage of heat from industrial and residential buildings - 5% Therefore, it is necessary: 1. The development of new surface coatings for buildings, to prevent the accumulation of heat and its partial display back to the environment 2. The development and implement technologies to collect and targeted use of heat from thermal power plants 3. The development new types of vehicles with less emissions 4. The focus on better insulation of industrial and residential premises Koshki villageI did't hear about policies in my community that are planned to reduce the UHI effect![Compare of temperatures for city and village in the Samara region][1] ![Samara city][2] ![KJoshki village][3] [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/1458900563820327.png [2]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14589018041946763.png [3]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14589018269798843.png
