Some reasons for this reverse urban effect include the building materials that have been consciously adapted i.e.marble and stone tend to trap lesser heat. Moreover, the buildings and vegetation have created more shaded structures compared to the desert. The vegetation hence reduces the air temperature. **Q.3 Which are the measures you would propose?** Some measures I would propose include increasing the vegetation cover in the city Moreover using locally sourced materials instead of materials that have been procured from far away.
