The effects of the UHI in my area are: -The people get stress and try to don’t go out in the afternoons between 1 to 4. -The heat in the cars is unbearable. -The consumption of energy is lot because of the use of the air conditioner. -The lack of water is evident because of the evaporation of it. -The use of the car is more, because the people don’t want to walk in the hot weather. -People die because of the waves of heat. ![My residence][1] 3. Which are the measures you would propose? The measures that I will make are: -Create more green areas in the city to create micro climes and reduce the heat in the urban areas. -Through the sidewalks plant trees to provide shelter to the people that chose to walk. -Implement laws that reduce the consumption of water and energy. -Implement laws that force the people to reuse the water and use of alternative energies. -Propose a law where the people in every house or department have at least 4 m2. 4.
