Sao josé is a middle range city that has been growing fast in the past years due the industrial past, now with this industrial model is showing a slow decrease, but the services industry is fast growing in the city. With more than 70% of the área being legally preserved, it´s urbam center concentrate the UHI effects on the olders industrial zones, as well the new service zones ![city overview][1] City Overview ![residential neighborhood][2] Residential Neighborhood ![industrial neighborhood][3] Industrial Neighborhood Zoning plays a important task at mantaining green spaces, but not at the city geometry level, there´s no control, laws or norms that makes the private sector, when developing a new neighborhood, take any considerations on urban geometry.
