Prague is the biggest city in Czech Republic with more than 1 250 000 inhabitants. The annual average UHI intensity is 2,2 °C (1991-2012). Today (15.03.2016) was the difference only 1 °C. Prague is the place with the highest average temperature during the year (9,4 °C). Air condition is not common in houses. The main effect could be the air pollution. Equally more running water (fountains and uncovered streams) could get the situation better. May I will promote less asphalt spaces and more green paths. I try to develop the infrastructure for non-motorised transport and encourage people to bike and walk. **Q4: Is UHI effect concerning policy making in your area?** No, unfortunately it is not.
