2. The main UHI effects in Fresno is downtown is an old town and the building was built mostly with concretes that absorb heat from the sun during daytime. Streets are narrow make it hard for the heat to cool down at night and keep the temperature higher than suburb. Other things are there are not enough green areas or parks and water bodies to create evapotranspiration effect in the city. 3. My propose are adding more green spaces and more parks areas to balance the design in downtown area. Redesign the city that make it more attractive like walking in a big park. 4.
