Done 2- **Which are the main UHI effects that you can identify in your area?** The main UHI effects that i can identify in Córdoba are the crowded traffic and the lack of green spaces. Córdoba is growing to fast and the infraestructure is insufficient. In addition to that, the city is located in a valley, thus the polluted air is trapped. Cordoba has a varied climate in the year with warm summers and cool winters. The average annual temperature is 18° c. Near to Córdoba, there are many small cities surrounded by mountains, rivers and lakes. One of them is called Río Ceballos at 30 kilometers from Córdoba. Rio Ceballos is an horizontal city with nature and clean air. Although it's very close to the city of Córdoba, the average annual temperature is 15°c and you can perceive a cleaner air. ![Map][1] ![Córdoba][2] ![Río Ceballos][3] 3- **Which are the measures you would propose?** I would propose more green spaces, more shade areas, sustainable buildings with green roof and a sustainable transport system. I would also establish a new control to stop the excessive city growth and to control, process and recycle waste. 4- **Is UHI effect concerning policy making in your area?** UHI effect isn’t a concerning policy making in Córdoba. Goverment tried to improve the transport system and green spaces but the problem is to big and the measures were very few. I also think that the society has not enough awarneness of this problem.
