Green shows the bus route to work; 2 minutes walk, 4 minutes bus ride and 7 minutes walk, totalling 13 minutes. Blue shows the walk to work, non stop taking 19 minutes. Red shows my cycle route, same as walking, taking only 5 minutes. My favourite mode of transport is by bike as it costs less than a bus and is faster than walking. Walking can be pleasant however, as the route walks past Clapham Common park, so sometimes I walk instead. I have only a few times caught the bus in the last year, as it is not significantly faster, costs more and is not as pleasant. One of the reasons for my dwelling is its proximity to work, as it saves copious amounts of money and time to not have a long commute.
