a. Provisioning Services: Living in Mexico makes us to usually get our food from the earth by Agriculture, as we have large terrain to do. Mexico is a big country, therefore, we have enough space to dedicate this practice. In my local area, we don't have sea nearby, but we have some dams, so, by this way we get fish. Meanwhile, we get from the wild ecosystem one of the most important food in Mexico, which is the cactus, one can practically find it everywhere in my local area. Besides, Mexico has a long variety of fruits that grows up in the wild. Ecosystem provides us raw materials for construction, which is the soil, usually and generally used to build Mexican buildings over the years. This material is quite easy to obtain from the nature, as I said, we have a lot of terrain and a dry climate that provides huge amounts of soil. ![Cactus as important food source][1] b. Regulating Services: Aguascalientes is a desertic region owing to its locations, practically it's the center of Mexico, we don't have a great diversity of nature like other parts of Mexico. Our nature is limited to Cactus and a few types of trees native to region. We have forests of "Mezquite" that really does not look like a typical forest, but it is, and works in the same way than others, removing pollution from the air. Our water reserves have reduced dramatically in recent years, what has caused severe damages to earth and desertification process, the soil has start to produce cracks in the city and surrounding areas, damaging buildings. Habitat or supporting services: There are several animal species in my local area. Such as foxes, pumas, deers, eagles, and a wide variety of snakes, mainly rattlesnake. d. Cultural Services: Practically the most attarctive and representative natural effect of Aguascalientes is the sunset, being one of the most beautiful sunsets in Mexico due to its variety of colors.
