Cheltenham’s ecosystem supplies spa water to the town. This water is pumped out of the ground at the local ‘pump rooms’ which have become a civic centre for the town. The Spa water has attracted tourists to the town for over a hundred years and has enabled the economy to grow around that tourism. ![enter image description here][1] Regulating Services: Cox’s Meadow is a bowl shaped park which lies near the centre of the town. During most of the year it acts as a recreational green space for jogging, dog walking, or as a more scenic route out to the suburbs. When the town experiences heavy rainfall, this park becomes a basin which collects all of the water, saving the houses around it from flooding. ![enter image description here][2] Supporting Services: The town receives frequent rainfall, this allows for the ecosystems to continue to grow and thrive. ![enter image description here][3] Cultural Services: The town lies within a larger area called the Cotswold Hills which are renowned for their natural beauty. This adds to the aesthetic experience of living in or visiting the area. It also brings a lot of tourism to the town and allows for recreational activities such as golf or horse riding. ![enter image description here][4] The images used in this post were all sourced online [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14478569538354514.jpg [2]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14478569712294339.jpg [3]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14478569854461527.png [4]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14478569961601264.jpg
