The effects of the power plants, using mostly coal products, on the environment have been troubling the government for many years, but very few have been done to change that. ![One of the power plants and its effect on the environment around it][1] Greece is a country well know for the winds blowing all year long, and the high percentage of sunny days during the year. There should be more initiatives into promoting wind and solar energy. ![enter image description here][2] ![enter image description here][3] Also, there is an initiative from a small Greek city, called Trikala, to use electric driverless buses.
