Limfjorden which divides city into Aalborg and Nørresundby is a rich source of mussels and fish. In fact you can buy products coming from Limfjorden in almost every local supermarket. I believe it is great example of locally available food. ![enter image description here][1] b. Regulating Services - Local climate and air quality / Carbon sequestration and storage Parks which can be found all over the city, just a few steps from the city center acts as great climate regulators. Full of trees, shrubs and other plants, parks provide better air quality, by cleaning the air from car exhaust fumes and other pollutants. As well all these plants act as carbon depositories, taking carbon dioxide (greenhouse gasses) from the atmosphere and storing it in their tissue. ![enter image description here][2] c. Habitat or Supporting services - Habitats for species Limfjorden and Mølleparken are greatest examples of habitat inside the city that I can think of. Fjord idea is pretty straight forward. While Mølleparken stands out from other parks by having more areas similar to untamed forests with dense vegetation in different heights and great variety of plants. In my mind places like these are closest to natural habitats outside of the city. ![enter image description here][3] d. Cultural services - Recreation and mental and physical health Parks and jogging paths are great examples of flora providing cultural services. In spring and summer time there is no better place to enjoy the sun and have a great time with friends than parks. Where you can spend time surrounded by natural world. Also every one of us has notices how stressful city life can be, with constant running from place to place, work etc. Many people tend to deal with this by taking some sort of sport e.g. jogging. In my mind there is no better place to jog that surrounded by trees.
