1. Around my city, there are many ecosystems that provide food for human consumption. We have mountains and forests were we can hunt birds and rabbits (Hopscotch, Quails). We can also harvest Juniper trees seed, Thyme that we use when we cook. We can also harvest Buckthorn fruits. We also have lakes and rivers were we can fish many kind of fish. On certain periods of the year, the Forestry and animal department give us the permission to hunt ducks on the lakes. Ecosystems around my city provide many raw material such sand, graphite and red clay to make bricks. ![Graphite_mine][1] B. Regulating services : Around my city, there are trees along the river shores and the root system of those trees clean the water. In the lake, we have a kind of cleaner fish that eat the feces of other fish and contribute to cleaning the water. We have mongoose that kills and eat the rats proving pest control. There are also owls who eat mice and rats. The mountains and forests surrounding the city provide clean and fresh air. ![river][2] C. Habitat and supporting services The forests and the mountains provide a rich ecosystem that sustain a wide diversity of wildlife such as wolves, foxes, wild pigs, mongoose, hedgehog, mice, rabbits, many snake types, insects (wild bees), birds and plants. ![Forests][3] D. Cultural services There are many forests where people can walk, jog, and exercise while enjoying the nature.
