***a.*** Provisioning services: "Products obtained from ecosystems" Firstly, is fish which is rather easily available here to me. Though not in vast variety yet valued, commonly sold at fish markets within my city. Water and soils of cultivation condition also abundant though more commonly used for banana cultivation located in more rural farming zones. Being so, these are the more prominent elements from my surrounding ecosystem. ![enter image description here][1] ![enter image description here][2] ***b.*** Regulating services: "Benefits obtained from the regulation of ecosystem processes" There is a strong agricultural presence in St. Lucia. This solely derives from adequate use of the ecosystem as prominent crops like bananas are circulated island wide and exported internationally, thus being source of income. Being so, there is a great need of keeping a sanitary environment; treating water and soils. ***c.*** Habitat or Supporting services Water is treated reasonably as necessary for safe use for its many functions. Bins are fairly dispersed throughout the city, not too far off any street corner thus influencing less city pollution. Cultivation soils are kept maintained and kempt. Coastal zones are valued tourist attractions and treated alike. ***d.*** Cultural services: "Non-material benefits people obtain from ecosystems through spiritual enrichment, cognitive development, reflection, recreation, and aesthetic experiences" Market places within Castries fit this purpose as it serves as cultural/commercial zone. A main attraction in Castries making farmed crops readily available outside supermarkets to locals and likewise a cultural souvenir zone to tourists. The Castries market place stands as a welcoming city zone exuding local culture and promoting the output from our local ecosystems. ![enter image description here][3] [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14495280093862155.jpg [2]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14495283744609797.jpg [3]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14495308065486313.jpg
