2. Dominant fossil fuels such as oil and gas are used mainly for transportation and industry in Canada. 3. Rethinking the policy on energy flows for this country, use of oil and gas will be significantly reduced and instead investment will be redirected to 'other' sources of energy supplies such as wind and solar and to bio/waste. Increases in these sources of energy will be directed to transportation and industry. However, it should be noted that transportation and industry are also undergoing significant changes that will affect demand and consumption. And more generally, people will be encouraged to rethink how they can reduce their environmental footprint. As depicted in the image, people use waterways to exercise and move about; multi-use paths enable bicycles, walking, running, etc.; and low to medium high-rise buildings with multi-use and green design contribute to lower energy requirements. ![enter image description here][1] [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14464120306498808.jpg
