**1.PROVISIONING SERVICES** a. FOOD. A number of water ways and Rivers (some seasonal) exist within Zaria which provide a means for all year round farming. Popularly referred to as "Fadama Farming" here in Nigeria. b. RAW MATERIALS. POLLINATION: A number of birds, insects and animals exist which are responsible for pollination within the Savannah Region. Bats, doves, rats, Bees, Butterflies, Cattle e.t.c b. The Zaria Savannah Region is home to a Variety of plant Species such as the baobab and Neem to mention a few.
