![Sankey Diagram: Brasil][1] In my country, Brazil, Oil is the most proeminent fossil fuel used. 2. Sector where fossil fuels are mainly used: Transport (Mostly by road) because the logistics are made basically by road transportation in trucks. Other options as rail transportation and ship transportation are barely opted to transport people and goods within the country. ![Transport Fuel Consumption Chart][2] 3. New enviromental friendly policy for energy consumption. At first, we could invest on subsiding new forms of oil-free fuels such as biogas and biofuels, ethanol, electric and hydrogen ones. The change of polluting vehicle fleet would be supported by taxing highly polluting vehicle's owners. These measure would encourage to diminish the demmand for oil from transport reasons. Secondly, we could invest more on wind farms, solar energy power stations and sustainable natural gas and hydrelectric power plants. This way, we can reduce the demand for energy from thermoelectric power plants fueled by oil. At last, we can work in a new way to utilize our waste as a sustainable source of energy. Through recycling programas and power plants especially designed for use of all non-recycling waste as fuel, we can combine two important issues in my country to build a better future for all people.
