Benghazi is a coastal city; located on the Mediterranean, in the plain between the mountain and the sea, surrounded by rural areas. **a. Provisioning services** Benghazi or (salt city); The newly emergence of the city was rely on the sea, specifically on the salt industry and exported. Also Benghazi is surrounded by farms, pastures, and green mountain forests; freshwater comes from aquifers water and rainwater. This nature provide a lot of raw materials used in local industries, and as an energy source; which was considered a major source of local materials, in the past, but now the population is no longer dependent on local natural resources. In fact, local industries began to disappear. Regulating services** Within the city, the vegetation seems careless and penetrative by infraction buildings, the city already need rehabilitation and planning of open areas within them. The city has several lakes, that have been neglected or been misused. Vegetation that surrounds the city also has been breached. The surrounding rural areas also and sea, are suffering from neglect, and exposed to violations. Habitat or Supporting services** The city is located in the Mediterranean basin scale, and it is a rich area in biodiversity, and is a habitat for many species. It is also a migration corridor for many species of birds. "The Mediterranean Basin Hotspot is the third richest hotspot in the world in terms of its plant biodiversity (Mittermeier et al. 2004)". Cultural services** There are few the open places in good condition for entertain, physical activity, and social activities within the city; as I explained earlier. I think that the most important of these places are the zoo, and that contain walking trails and recreational activities, in addition to being a botanical garden. And the lakes are important also. Tourism neglected in the city, and also neglected at the regional scale of the city "Cyrenaica". Although the geological and biological diversity, and that gives us the diversity in the landscape, in addition to the presence of cities and historical monuments in the city, "such as Greek and Romanian monuments", and around the city.
