The following services are present in and around the city : **a. Provisioning services** -Mumbai has a lot of farms along the fringes and forests which provide land and raw material for basic survival.lakes and rivers through and around the city also make fresh water available. Regulating services** A number of National parks, gardens and open spaces as well as Mangroves at the fringes make sure that regulating systems are in place. Sewage plants also exist but are on the edge of the city away from the residential zones. Habitat or Supporting services** National parks and pristine untouched forests exist along the edges which provide a flourishing habitat for wild life. ![enter image description here][7] **d. Cultural services** Open green spaces and gardens exist, although a little sparse.
